Ingredients
1 ½cupplain flour
1tbsbaking powder
¼cup caster sugar
1egg
1 ½cupmilk
50gbuttermelted
1tbsvanilla bean paste
Instructions
Place flour, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl and give it a good mix to break up any lumps.
In a jug, add egg, milk, butter and vanilla and whisk until well combined.
Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and carefully pour the wet mixture in the centre. Whisk well until everything is combined and you have a smooth batter.
Heat butter in a large fry pan on medium heat. Once the butter starts to foam add 1/4 cup of the batter to the pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until the pancake is golden. Flip using the pan or a flipper.
Repeat with remaining batter. Serve the pancakes warm with your favourite toppings.
